Our mission is to educate, inform, and empower patients and the public to make effective and informed health care decisions through objective resources. SAVE THE PATIENT works to improve communication between doctors, hospitals, caregivers, and patients through Patient Advocacy, Community Outreach, Educational Seminars, Website, and Health Caring Cards.

to find a doctor, guides provided by the government and other agencies and news
you can use for your health care decisions.
HEALTH CARING CARDS: in English,Spanish, and Polish with information
regarding your health care rights, how to prepare before you go to the Doctor
or Hospital, what to ask when you are in the office or clinic, and what to ask
and know about medicines. The Health History Card is a life saving way to let
Doctors know about your health when you are unable to inform them during an emergency
or at medical appointments.
3. What makes your organization different from other websites and health organizations?
We are devoted to educating, informing and empowering the public so that they know what to do when using health care services. Our organization represents the people without commercial or paid endorsements, advertisements or special interests. Services we offer are free to the public. SAVE THE PATIENT is supported by grants and contributions from the public. Our organization advocates for better health care for the public through better communication and improved patient care. It is the consumer's health information organization.
4. How do I help SAVE THE PATIENT?
By becoming a volunteer, sending us your ideas and stories, or your generous financial contributions. Whether it is $5.00 or $500, you will help others understand the importance of their active role in their own health care. You donation will help us add other languages and Braille to our Health Caring Cards, print newsletters with news you can use in languages understood in diverse communities, and help educate, empower, and advocate better health care. Your stories will help us inform the policy makers and health care professionals as to what is happening to the public in their health care encounters.
5. Will you have more information on your website and in your newsletters?
Yes, in January, April, July, and October we will be updating the health information links and adding news you can use.
